The Organizing Committee of the "Regions — Sustainable Development" competition, together with the expert community, has announced a selection of enterprises eligible for reimbursement of up to 20% of costs for purchasing domestic software to implement IT technologies that optimize transport and logistics costs. The software must be developed and registered in Russia. IT company DVG PROJECT develops the Take Yours hardware and software suite, which dramatically speeds up picking and shipping for a wide range of warehouses.
Why is the government subsidizing software purchases to modernize logistics? Labor productivity is a key challenge for the modern Russian economy. The production culture formed during the planned economy era did not assume a competitive approach where service speed was critical.
Logistics structures, including inside warehouses, remained highly conservative for a long time. Yet amid complex social processes, it became clear that logistics — not production — was the weakest link slowing goods movement. That is why, under the national project "Labor Productivity and Employment Support," the government decided to subsidize software purchases for real-economy entities.
